Clayton Visual Arts November Art Exhibit
Friday, October 24, 2008 by Donna.
CVA’s November art exhibit and reception will feature John Farr of Clayton and Helen Crouse of Raleigh.
The exhibit at The Clayton Center, 111 E. Second St., will run Nov. 3-28. We will host a reception for John and Helen on Thursday, Nov. 6, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the lobby of
the center. We hope you can join us in honoring them and viewing their work.
Both the exhibit and reception are free and open to the public. Dress is casual, and light refreshments will be served — cookies, fruit, cheese, wine, punch. If you have friends who might be interested in this event, please invite them to come, too.

Grand Opening - Art Gallery, Art Supplies & Classroom
Thursday, October 16, 2008 by Donna.
Wow, next Friday, October 11, 2008, has come and gone and I haven’t put up the Booth Registration form. Bad me. I’m working on it, but the Grand Opening is already upon me and I just don’t know where the days went.
But the Galleries are filling up and we still have room for more, so get yours in before it’s too late.
I will be traveling this weekend, Friday to Sunday, with the Clayton High School Band, but Bonnie will be at the center if you wish to drop off paintings with her. She will have an inventory list for you to fill out. Just call her to make sure she will be there. Anytime after 10 am on the weekend should be fine.
Hope to see you at the Grand Opening!

Fellow Artist
If you did not receive the newsletter click here and scroll down a bit.
1 - We are having drawings for guest and if you would like to donate an original art piece that would be great. I need to know as quickly as possible.
2 - During the month of December we will have booth space inside the fence area of the center. If it is not too cold, or you are warm blooded and would like to rent a booth, contact me. We are working on getting electricity out side, so you can bring a heater and lights if you stay through the evening hours. Stay tune for more info on the electricity.
Thursday, December 4th is the Clayton Tree Lighting - 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm - we will have a sign that will read Short Cut to Main Street so those who are parking on 1st Street will cut through and browse the booths.
If anyone would like to help out and make a sign along the lines of Whimsical and a little Disney, let me know. We can use the help. It would need to read Holiday Village as well, A street sign of sorts. One that can change as events change.
Saturday, December 13th is the Clayton Parade from 10:00 am till 11:00 am. We will be set up all day.
If you wish to set up every weekend until the 21st. That would be great. Just let me know.
Cost for a 10 x 10 booth:
$20 per booth for 1day for a 10 x 10 booth - no commissions out side. $10 dollar Extra charge for booth sharing. $45 dollars for 3 days, $65 dollars for for 3 days for booth sharing. We have about 10 spaces in side the fence. Outside the fence you will need to remove the tents nightly.
First-Come-First Serve. Payment required with application - applications will be available shortly. Artist must supply their own tent, tables, chairs, lights and heaters. Check http://eyeoftheeagleart.com/all-call-to-artist for the application. Should be there by next Friday, if not sooner.
Any suggestions for events or activities during the events, will be greatly appreciated. We want to have as much activity - as we have time for - as possible. We will be working on next years schedule after the Grand Opening.
NOTE: Eye of the Eagle Art will not be responsible for lost, stolen or damaged Artwork or equipment. Eye of the Eagle Art Gallery B
Tuesday, September 30, 2008 by Donna.
Gallery B is contemporary, cozy and homey. The wood burning stove, mantel, brick surround and wooden ceiling complement the wood floor. A rich find by the owners.
The wood floor was covered up by a layer of floor board, a layer of padding and a layer of carpeting. The floor extends the length of the front two rooms, Gallery A & B.
If you would like to see your painting hanging in this Gallery, send your information and two phones to Donna@eyeoftheeagleart.com
We hope you come to visit us soon.
