ArtalaCarte

The Eye of the Eagle Art will be participating in the ArtalaCarte, an art walk and historic homes tour sponsored by Clayton Visual Arts. The art walk and tour will premier Saturday, Oct. 17, in downtown Clayton.

Seven homes, five now converted to businesses, will be toured, and local artists will display and offer their work for sale at the houses.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and begins at the Robertson Mule Co. on Lombard Street . A free ArtalaCarte “taxi” will be available for those who have difficulty getting around.

Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased the day of the event at the Robertson Mule Co.

Clayton October Fest will downtown that weekend and Ricky Scaggs will be at the Clayton Center on Saturday


Since we have had a number of Artist call wanting to register but missed the deadline, we have extended registration until October 19th. We will start hanging on that date as well.

Spooky Halloween Garden

At the Eye of the Eagle Art center

During October, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm Admission is FREE.

Halloween Party October 31st from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Pumpkin Decorating (entry fee required, Blinky’s to the first 12 entries) and Costume Contest.

Awards given out at 8:00 pm. You must be present to win.

Pumpkin Heads! Your choice. You can bring a pumpkin to carve or paint on, or you can make a clay pumpkin, or Bats, and Witches and scary Ghost.

If your not in the Halloween sprit, then you can bring what ever you want to work on, or get inspired by others and start something new.

We have supplies you can purchase from the Eagles Nest, or use what we have available from our recycling bins, or you can bring your own.

We inspire, encourage and support artist of all levels. Come join us and let your creativity soar with the Eagle.

Artistic Trading Cards (ATC) Club

ATC Cards and Booklet

In the ATC club you will create small pieces of art called Artists - or Artistic - Trading Cards (ATC) using collage materials and all types of media.

Trade with your friends or keep them for yourself.

You will also learn to create an accordion-style ATC booklet with pockets to hold your ATCs using watercolor paper for the inside and a paste paper technique for the cover.

Date: First Friday of every month!
Time: 6:30 - 9:00 pm
Cost: $2 per person and $3 for supplies, due at the door.
