Take time to discover your creativity in a supportive atmosphere. We will explore the basics of painting. We will cover color, composition and various painting techniques. Take part in painting exercises designed to enhance your creativity and skill.

Students with painting experience are welcome to join us and receive guidance with independent projects.

Clayton Visual Arts November Art Exhibit

John W. Farr IV - SoledadCVA’s November art exhibit and reception will feature John Farr of Clayton and Helen Crouse of Raleigh.

The exhibit at The Clayton Center, 111 E. Second St., will run Nov. 3-28. We will host a reception for John and Helen on Thursday, Nov. 6, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the lobby of 1108-cva-invite_page_1_image_0002.pngthe center. We hope you can join us in honoring them and viewing their work.

Both the exhibit and reception are free and open to the public. Dress is casual, and light refreshments will be served — cookies, fruit, cheese, wine, punch. If you have friends who might be interested in this event, please invite them to come, too.
