Eye of the Eagle Gallery A
Thursday, September 25, 2008 by Donna.
I am so excited, and relieved, that we have finished Gallery A. It has been a long time coming, but worth the wait.
I can’t wait to see the walls filled with art. There is even room for a few free standing pieces.
The chrome grids will make it easy to hang and move art around and even heavy art will be no match. The grids can hold 30 - 40 lbs.
All that is left in Gallery B is the hanging system and that will be done by the end of the week.
So, if you are just starting out, or your an old pro, contact me about space to exhibit your work. We are not set up yet to accept matted and wrapped prints and paintings, but we will have something soon.
More information to come about Gallery B and the Grand Opening, so check back.

Happenings at the Eye!
Friday, September 12, 2008 by Donna.
Things are hopping at the center. We have passed are inspection of the major items that needed to be done and we just have a few cosmetic items to take care of and we should be good to go. Of course we will be making improvements as we go along, but the major items are done. Now we just have to file for the occupancy license and then we will be officially open, I think. Something else always comes up to put a damper on things, but once we have the license in our hands, we are good.
So, Creation Station art classes are going on now and adult art classes with ArtEscape starts on September 15th. So check out the http://eyeoftheeagleart.com/creation-station-workshops and http://eyeoftheeagleart.com/artescape-workshops for classes and workshops.
Scott is giving guitar lessons on Wednesdays, but if that day is not good for you, give him a call at 919-550-7716 for other days and times.
Jody is taking applications for Art Therapy classes as well. You can contact her 919-550-7716.
Check back for posting on our up coming Grand Opening and applications to submit art work to hang in the gallery and rent a 10 x 10 booth on the Art Center lawn.
Have a happy art filled week! Hope to see you at the Art Center really soon.
