Painting Buddy
Wednesday, June 11, 2008 by Donna.
Pastel Pointers by Richard McKinley
Richard shares his importance of a Painting Buddy.
Now I like to socialize and be around others, but some times in order to get my right brain to kick in, I need to work alone. But having a buddy can get the creative juices flowing, get your piece started and then take it to your studio to work on it.
Or your Painting Buddy can help you with a creative block and get you past it so you can finish your piece. I have a few buddies who help me with that.
“By planning to work together, we know someone else is relying on us. It is a commitment, forcing us to show up and paint instead of letting life’s little distractions get in the way.”
I agree! If I didn’t leave the house to work on my art, I would have no art to look at, show, or to sell. Then I wouldn’t be able to call myself an artist either.
A Painting Buddy is a good buddy. Call your buddy today and start painting.
