Mary Brown - Local NC Artist
Tuesday, May 27, 2008 by Donna.
Mary was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1970, and grew up surrounded by diverse colors of the desert. The Vibrant colors of the Arizona sunsets, with reds, oranges and yellows set her appreciation for the impact of colors, lights and shadows.
She began drawing at the age of five and after attending her first art class in high school, she decided to looke at her talents and art more seriously. She continued to draw, but incorporated more independent studies of the different art forms, and techniques.
Mary now lives in Princeton, North Carolina with her husband James and two children, Shane and Rebecca.
